1. blanda flowers in spring (April/May) and last about 4 weeks. Plants are 4-6 inches tall.

2. Common names: Anemones
3. Geophyte organ: Tuber
4. Hardiness type: Hardy I - Injured at temperatures below 23 degrees F (-5C) when planted.
5. Natural reproductive systems and growth and development requirements: Reproduces by seeds and tubers and require a warm (50 to 65F) - cool (28 to 32F) - warm (50 to 65F) annual thermoperiodic cycle.
6. Primary uses: Rock gardens, beds, borders, and woodland gardens.

2. Planting density: 1-2 inches apart, 25-60 per sq. ft.
3. Planting depth: 5 inches to the base of the tuber.

5. Perennialization habit: 1990 USDA Climatic Zones 3 and 4 with mulch, Zones 5 to 7 without mulch.
6. Light requirements: Full sunlight to PM only sunlight.
7. Moisture: Tolerates summer drought, but keep moist during fall and spring.
