How to Develop Your Own Winning Landscape

A great landscape or garden design harmonizes the nature of the terrain with the genius of landscaping. Beauty has been achieved in design; intelligent use of location and clever use of native stone and cedar wood has evolved into this winning prospect.

The concept of space is everywhere - from the 'you-can-see-forever' view to the many porticos, patios, terraces, courtyards, pool and gardens.

The gradient of the land and the entrance to the house is bridged and gently brought closer by creating terraced courtyard spaces that invite and welcome. The outdoor patios and dining room make great spots for relaxation and entertainment. The latter has a fireplace and is made private by a wisteria-covered arbor. Unusual positioning of the spa in the breezeway, as opposed to by the pool is yet another feature that pleases and surprises.
The entire approach to the house is one of charming mystery where steps and landings gradually rise to reveal interesting features like boat landing, spa, pool and a stone bench from which glorious sunsets can be enjoyed. The pool helps in achieving a better fitness regime for it incorporates resistance jets.

The garden and surrounding greenery of the house is one of sensibility where nature's colors in both year-round and seasonal splendor beautify with an element of low maintenance. The lawns use a hardy grass that does not grow quickly, and a variety of rose bush called 'Knockout' that requires little care for it blooms easily till winter comes. This is planted copiously as are other flowering shrubs like 'Forest Pansy', Azaleas and Irises. Perennial, evergreen vines and plants complete the grand and engaging outlook of the exterior of this prize house.
